A Clockwork Orange
« on: December 29, 2003, 04:28:03 PM »

I watched this classic film lastnight, I thought it was an excelent example of how things change, sometimes very drastic changes like the position the narrator (Alex) is in at the start of the film compared to the end. It also demonstrates the savage nature of the state I think. Anyone else seen it?

it remains one of my favorite movies. but, i think the book is alot better than the film. the british version of the book with the 21st chapter makes the book that much better. for some reason the american version doesnt have the 21st chapter.

Yes I agree it's a cool movie just pretty violent:D
Yes it's strange with the book, I read the full version and I will suggest people read it if they have the time.

Is there people doing that? I have never seen anybody like that, but it's quite possible since people dress up weird these days like the goth kidz etc.

i know in the american punk scene kids dress up "clockwork droog style." plus goth kids are a bunch of silly fuckers (i dont know why but i have such a hate for the new modern "goths") probably because their a bunch of nihilists that are too lazy to do anything to chnage their situation so they say fuck it.
