Young libertarian socialist in a religion-dominated country
« on: September 07, 2010, 06:18:55 PM »

Greetings fellow comrades. Another Marxist from Malaysia who enjoys discussing the importance of liberty towards the abolishment of bourgeois private property. I'm also a fan of democratic system and the power of workers and students towards achieving a prosperous country. Coming from a so-called Islamic country, I would love to talk about the parallels between Islam teachings and the philosophy of socialism. Those who believe the importance of religion regardless what you believe are also invited. But don;t get me wrong. I also believe the role of secularism to clean the stained caused by those Islamic extremists who has been blinded by money by the religious ruling class. Anyone who has any literal works which you can't suggest me to read are also welcomed

Sorry for the bad use of words and grammar errors. I'm also a nationalist who believe the importance of native culture towards the independence from the colonialism, imperialism and of course capitalism,

Hello There comrade, its nice to see an islamic socialist guy ! xD

As you see im catolic, here in Brazil, and in all latin america in general, we have a strong libertarian arm of the cristians chuches, called "the teology of libertation", which is a gruop inside of the churches who tries to reflect the revolucionary propose of the Holy bible and the chirstian history

There is a strong bad felling among the communisties about religion in general, and that is very comprensive, because the high clerical always stays in the side of the powerfulls , but if you guys reads the Rosa Luxemburg anallizes of the chuches history http://www.marxists.org/archive/luxemburg/1905/misc/socialism-churches.htm "socialism and churches" , its becomes easy to understand that the christian movement was actually a revolucionary movement of slaves who were fighting against the roman empire, and tried to implant a equalitary system which failed, because the final product of the work was socialized and not the means of production.

I didnt study sufficiently to talk about the islamic history, there is a lack of this kind of materical cause the socialist movement made stared in the occidental world, so there is fell analisyes about that religion, but im sure that it has revolucionary thoughs in its history, Mohamed (Maome) uniting the people against their cruel arabic tribes and nation and calling them all to a construction of a huge free coutry, seems to be very revolucionary to me, so its very possible for you to develop a libertarian wing in a islamic society.

Now, just be ware of nationalism, patriotism and all of this bullshits , yeah its really a bullshit, the world is divided only in two classes "The ones who have the means of production (bourgeoise)" and "the ones who sell their work force"(Proletarian), nationalism is a toll used to the the bourguesie to inspire the proletarians to fought for the NATION SECURITY (their power over others country) in a war for example.

The World War I, was a war for the worlds domination market and colonies distribution, a fight made by the bourgueosie of France, United States, Germany, Italy, Russia..., the workers of those coutries never had problems with each others , they didnt have reason to fight, but the bourgeosie will never take a rifle and start a war among themselfs, they dont need to die, they have mental slaves for that job, so in a attempt to inspire the works to go to war, it was created a massive national-patriotic propaganda, in this era was created the Uncle Sam, and phrases like "I WANT YOU!!! DEFEND YOUR HOMELAND"

Remember my friends WORKERS HAVE NO NATION (communist manifesto), our only coutry is the INTERNATIONAL COMUNIST, which is the all world together as a single nation, that is the only contry that you can have national-patriotism fellings, all the others nation are bourgueoasie divisions of the Earth

Be Welcome! Best Regards,
        Lucas Becker

P.S : Sorry for my english as well
