The situation in Thailand is now getting worse, after the prime minister, Abhisit Vedshachiva, declared the state of emergency, ordered media full-cencorship, and begin to use military armed force against the demonstration in Bangkok in order to "normalize the situation for Bangkokians" . That mean, the democracy-demanding demonstrators are now fot this prime minister less important than investment atmosphere, middle class happiness, although the grassroot and poor people have already enough of this.
If possible, I ask you guys here, if we could demonstrate and protest against the violation committed by the thai government, in the way you could. Many hundred tausands demonstrating and confronting military force and many millions supporters in rural area of thailand await!!!

I don't know how could we help. I'm sorry to hear that, but it's like that in whole Western world, from USA to Russia. It's capitalism.

Thanks for your concern. Now the the government seem to retreat now.
We have proved here that the armed forced couldn't push the demonstrators from the areas. Now some of the security bureau is hesitating, after the long day of clashes with about 8 confirmed dead including a Japanese journalist.
Now, the new task is to topple this government and prevent any possible coup de tat, according to the intelligence.

It is similar here where I live. Not that bad, but it will become worse - the country is ruining - and we who live in Croatia don't have any real revolutionary party or army. Demonstrations are almost every day, but nothing helps. The Government invented the crisis to full up their pockets and all the people are paying because of that.
The only way to make a good revolution is firstly to form a strong party of individualists. The second step is the hardest - to attract broad masses of workers and citizens and to make a general strike. Then a leader of a movement needs to plan the revolution very precisely with being sure everyone in the movement are reliable and - make it happen. Today nobody is brave enough for that. Everyone are only running away from responsibility so it's even more hard for such a revolution-

Well, now such thing occurs once again after the last month's incident (confirmed about 25 dead about 800 injured). This time the Headquater for Resolution of Emergency Situation, the department under the government's control just full-authorize the military to use force against the demonstrators and now the number of deads and injures increase rapidly. All human right committees, even UN are useless now doing nothing.

another new statement from our student network here
On May 13, 2010, the Center for Resolution of the Emergency Situation has announced the measures to ‘increase the pressures against the red-shirt demonstrations’ and cut off all commuting routes around the demonstration area. This includes ceasing all public bus, boat, elevated rail (BTS), electricity, street lights, water, blocking all mobile phone signals in the area. At the evening of the same day, the Emergency Act was extended to 17 more provinces in the central, north and northeast of Thailand to control the area and block any support coming in from the provinces.
At late night of the same day, at least one red-shirt protestors was killed in firing by the army. M79 was shot by the army in Silom area, causing around 20 protestors to be injured. Armored personnel carriers and snipers, sharpshooters all with live bullets are employed to execute in this mission. This use of heavy weapons already causes the violence from the government for the past one month, yet P.M Abhisit has never shown any responsibility
This decision and move made by the government has again brought Thai political situation into crisis We, the Student Federation of Thailand and other student and youth organization network, have demands and warning to the government under P.M. Abhisit Vejjajiva and other stakeholders as following;
1. Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva is to be held responsible to all the lives that are lost, by resigning and arrange general election as soon as possible. 2. The Emergency Act shall be abolished in Bangkok and other 16 provinces as soon as possible; the government shall also stop censoring all news channel blocked – websites, radios, cables. 3. Abhisit Vejjajiva and others held responsible for the crackdown and any death must be trialed through Thai and international juridical process with equal standard. 4. International Human Rights organizations and international community should hold duty to look into the matters of the serious human rights violation. They should pressure on the current government to the most extent, and intervene if necessary.

I've heard about that. It's the price of capitalistic militarism and I find it horrible. Unfortunately, there's not much an individual can do.

you are in any organisation? You need to be organised first. There must be an organisation with the common interest of fighting against the tyrants.
