Hi everyone,
I spent a fair amount of time today trying to find a socialist youth organisation that was well suited to my beliefs. Eventually I found newyou.com and I hope I have come to the right place.
I hope I haven't come across a large group of nut cases which is what I usually find when searching for people of similar political thought to myself.
I am 18 years old, living in Northern Ireland, studying History, Physics, Computers and Maths in my last year at high school. History is the love of my life :P and next year I hopeto start studying Modern History with Politics at University.

Welcome to the internet comrade! :P I'm just over the Sea here in Leeds - I just graduated from a Physics course in the summer. Good to see there are other marxists out there with the stomach for sciences! As brayen said, be active and provoke... "Thought" :D |

Welcome comrade! The New Youth discussion board is the right place to start. I think you'll find it better than most of the other left discussion boards, which like you said is full of a variety of people. If you have any questions or comments feel free to ask, or even start a thread on the topic.
