Look..maybe in the past the "Jews are rarely treated fairly." but that don't  make the right when they have power to treat other people unfairly.. i don't know what kind of communist you pretend to be , and you support zionism for your jewish origin.

Israel was some kind of Jewish Utopia for centuries, wasn't it? Marx was saying the same.
And now it's real. Doesn't it mean that every idea could be possible? Maybe not on the way we want, but anyway.

That is a good question Paula, the human condition is a finite one, leaving men and women to dream of impossible realities, and while human potential is limitless, we are still beings of matter and physically incapable of transcending reality, so while it may be true all things which are possible within reality could happen (Seahorses for example could some day evolve to an intelligent form of life) most of these ideas will not happen, and others are much more likely to spring up due to the material conditions of the world.

Your philosophical question is out from the subject..my problem with israel is the crimes and the ideology of the zionists..I don't know how both of us are communists and you have no problems with zionism!!!!!

I have many problems with Zionism, but this does not cause me to hate the "people of Zion" but rather to object to Zionism itself.

Maybe because we are different, comrade.
There are only perfect ideas and ideals, but there are no perfect solutions.

And I agree with comrade Christopher.

Paula, please don't try to attach your philosophy to me..You just tried to use my statement in support of Zionism, which is clearly not what is meant, also, it might help if you cleared things up and told him that you aren't a Materialist or Dialectician but a "Critical Utopian" Idealist, this actually might help explain things to him.

Well, I'm Jewish, and I am an anti-Zionist. I also support the Palestinians in their struggle to regain their land, just as I support the fight for a unified Jewish/Palestinian, secular socialist state.

Yeah, but one race (nation) would still be superior. They would fight for the power to the eternity.
The similar thing happened with English and Irish people.
Irish people wanted their land back just like Jews and that's what I support there, but when war started, both of the sides were unfair and aggressive.
