I am watching a television program about Hait and how to send help, and was unaware of the fact that their was imperalism and an class struggle going on in Haiti it being the poorest country in the western hemisphere.

Well Haiti as a colony was essentially founded by Imperialism..Yet it was one of the earliest colonies (If not the Earliest, I am not sure) to break free from Imperialist rule, that has kept the Imperialists hard on its case.

I've been trying to find the platform of the Arastide opposition to see what it is exactly that they were for and also against. Wikipedia honestly does not do a good job in this regard from what I have seen. Funny, sending troops nowadays is considered a "contributor" nowadays? Oh yes they did send money, after the disaster the USA pledged 100 million dollars. What imperialism? As last seen in the last Haitian political turmoil, the U.S. intervene only to stop the violence, and then left. Obviously we needed to finish the job and unite Haiti.
