Yeah his Health Care "reform" is a joke. The only real reform is Single Payer Health Care! Thing most people don't understand is Obama is not a free agent. Not only will he not make the change that most people wanted, but he CAN'T. If he actually attacked the banks and the rich, he'd loss all of his financial backing (Wall Street supported Obama over McCain). Also people forget that he himself is worth a good fortune. It really is quite sad, the US needs new health care and the politicians are debating over two equally as bad ideas.

When discussing (i.e. arguing about) politics with conservatives who I didn't like or wanted to rile up for some reason, I would say occasionally that "Obama can't do enough government takeover of ..." whatever subject we were talking about (healthcare being one topic that came up often), and I'd just leave it at that without explaining what I meant. They obviously took it as me wanting the exact opposite of what they were wanting (all the evil things in their mind)... which isn't entirely inaccurate but isn't in any way the whole story. This isn't a way of continuing a civil political discussion with conservatives :D ... at least not those who aren't willing to understand what people mean when they say something.

It really is quite sad, the US needs new health care and the politicians are debating over two equally as bad ideas. The reason I was saying Obama healthcare plan will hurt the working class is it is band aid on the problem . A reform will set the revolution back big time. What Obama wants do to is give poor access to insurance and make fair insurance . Some other liberals will like to have medicare or medicaid to all the low income or kids. None of 2 bills above will be pass by congress or senate. Having people that have no access to insurance and insurance companies gettting more greedy ( do not cover pre-med conditions , on going treatment ,part of the treatment cost ) and other find print the insurance companies are trying to make up to be loaded with money .All this will be catalyst for change of every year more and more people have no insurance and insurance companies getting more greedy . What Obama wants is access to insurance for all and fair insurance !!! But the insurance companies will still get big and fat !!! This week all over CNN makes me want to vomit over Obama healthcare plan he is trying get passt and having so much trouble and over the stimulus money and cut backs do to the big debt. And conservatives who do not believe in the new deal .

As a Marxist I'm not opposed to reforms, that help the working class both live better and build their consciousness. So real reform like "single payer" health care and free higher education, I am 100% in support of. Problem is with the democrats and republicans this is completely impossible, as reasons stated. Health Care has too much money invested into politics, that this would be impossible. Obamas so called "reform" is actually more beneficial to the insurance companies. Where even people who don't have insurance would have to buy it from the insurance companies and would have stiff fines for not having any. The AFL-CIO has endorsed single payer health care, which shows that the only way to get real reforms to help out the masses in the United States, is for labor to break with the democrats and build their own party.

The reason why I'm opposed a reform is it will set the revolution back and hurt the working class in the long one. Not passing any reform with the level of people growing every year that have no insurance and insurance companies that make up more find print every year like do not cover pre-med conditions , on going treatment ,part of the treatment cost so on.
At that level of problems we have now even conservatives are saying yep there is a big problem and some thing needs to be done just not Universal healthcare. At the level of problems growing every year of people that have no insurance not to say insurance companies gettting more greedy like every year like do not cover pre-med conditions , on going treatment ,part of the treatment cost so on.And not to say the BIG HEALTHCARE COST getting out of control and growing every year !!! Yet rich insurance companies and rich pharmaceutical companies pumping out billion dollar profits yet BIG HEALTHCARE COST getting out of control and people with pre-med conditions , on going treatment ,part of the treatment cost so on will be the catalyst for change .
We are almost there now at the level of problems and growing every year that it is unsustainable at a point which we are very close to now that the US will change , Certainly not out of "moral" reasons. But proven fact that the private sector cares about profit not some one health where the most harcore conservatives will be in shock.
The bail out money and stimulus money set us back big time , the free-market was sinking and by giving out the bail out money and stimulus is like giving out life jacket ..Mow on polls 75 Americans believe the bail out money and stimulus money was bad and the free-market would fix it self and believe big government is bad. Most Americans believe in Adam smith libertarian views of the economy. Now all hopes to tell them the eviles of libertarian views of the economy is gone.I would like no bail out money and stimulus money and bring the depression on like before to prove the free-market does not work.
Now all hopes are lost and if we do not pull out of this very small depression they will never ever ever ever hear the left again what they are talking about.

Taking care of our health is something to do with our future...health is a precious wealth... In making the best of our health does mean,,,making the best of our future life...in other words.the more healthier we become.the better the future may come unto us... Underlying this concern is a lack of trust in the government numbers. Eighty-one percent (81%) believe it is at least somewhat likely that the health care reform plan will cost more than official estimates. That number includes 66% who say it is very likely that the official projections understate the true cost of the plan. this could be the best plan to help the people because..... Fifty-nine percent (59%) of voters say cost is the biggest problem with health care. But 54% believe passage of the proposed health care legislation will lead to higher health care costs.

Everybody has their opinion on the new healthcare. It will be hotly debated for the next decade most likely. You could write essays on different arguments for it or against it. I think overall it is a good bill but only time will tell.
