US interests were attempting to do the same thing they have done across the western hemisphere... they were seizing control over the means of production with the single interest of generating a profit off the backs of the people living in those areas.

The US has absolutely no right interefering in other countries problems, I know they think it is a must that they have to play world cop, eventually people get sick of it after awhile. And as far as seizing control over the profit in other Countries and getting a profit for themselves off the backs of the poor when the US is the richest country in the world that is pretty bad! I can see why Fidel told them to F off after they offered him a large amount of money to try to win favour and control Cuba, and he turned around and kicked them out and said STOP this ends now.  All the damage that Batista did to Cuba Fidel has made Cuba better then before when that American run little puppet Batista was in power I read his story that guy makes me sick! People call Che and Fidel monster they have no idea what Batista did it is horrifying. It makes Che and Fidel look like angels compared to that mobster loving lackey.

A lot of you may not agree with what I wrote and the fact I speak my mind may bother some well that is just too bad, If you think that I am to much of a troublemaker and voice my opinions too freely and want to turn on me that is your decision, but I won't change my opinion on here or anywhere else.

Why do you assume there are many who don't agree with you?

I agree, but Fidel Castro is principally a bourgeois leader, while he may in fact be a good man he has not really stuck to the ideas of Socialism nor has he ever really, the most he seems to have done is gone along with Che for political points and diplomatic relations with the USSR, this is why while the Cuba of today is a much better place than it was under Batista, it is hardly perfect, and will remain far from perfect until the people unite themselves in a political revolution to gain power for the masses.

He did it to get money coming in so he open up the gates to people all over world other than the  US who go to Cuba on vacation every year and if you not a Cuban you pay for heathcare. This is a big way of getting money into the country. No US business or any other country that does business with the US are allowed to trade with Cuba. That means if UK car maker does business with US they not allowed to trade with Cuba.

Cuba is poor because it lacks industry and alot of things are imported. The Cuba revolution was built of major trading parter the USSR.The USSR had heavy industry but lacked light industry .Keep in mind Russia was a dirt poor articulture country ruled by landowners and kings .Well Stalin made the USSR a super power and focus on heavy industry even in fact that stalin was tyrant.

Keep in mind Cuna is poor but is not third World Country. And yet to see a shanty town like in Brazil or Mexico http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/south-america/brazil/images/brazil-shanty-town.jpg

nationalism thinks proud loyalty and devotion to a nation but nationalize is better becuse the business is to state ownership  for equity and fairness rather than market principles.

Because the US put an embargo on Cuba after Fidel Castro offered them the sugar cane crop and they flat out refused so he gave it to the USSR, so to trade with the Communists is why the US put an embargo on Cuba what did you expect him (Fidel) to do?
