http://socialistagenda.info/default.aspx I have been contacted by this organization through facebook.. But their website seems to me more of a reformist "Social Democratic" organization than a Marxist organization.. does anyone know any more of them?

Just a quick browse through the website screams social dem. The homepage alone says that well enough.

For most of the twentieth century, the United States was a socialist country.
That last line clearly stands out. That this is some reformist organization. No self respecting Marxist or anarchist for that matter would call the US socialist. There have been socialist movements and certain laws passed they socialist would applaud. But calling the country socialist is just silly.
Those were very much my thoughts, though looks can be deceiving..which is why I was asking for input here.. but I must admit their praise of Social Security as a solution made me feel sick..
