Who agrees that the US has the most powerful military on Earth so far?

Tech wise probably, size, their up their, training no. China's got the size, catching up with the tech, and I have no idea about their training.

Well yes the US has the best military in the world because the US is the most powerful capitalist country at the moment.
The amazing fact is that even the best military in the world, cannot conquer another country that easily. This was demonstrated in Vietnam and now in Iraq, where the US army suffered defeats.
In a revolutionary situation in the US, this mighty military willl split along class lines, having a big chunk of the military join the revolutionaries.
Bottom line is that neither the American worker, nor the inhabitant a country other than the US, should fear the American military !

Well said Dimitri, but I must add that the US could have won Vietnam if they wanted to. We've only seen about 5%- 10% of US Military power.
As for China......well they have numbers all right......but they are poorly trained and they are kind of cathing up in tech, but they're like North Korea, they use old Soviet stuff.
