A People's History
« on: May 24, 2008, 01:21:16 PM »

 Hello,

I wanted to know if there was a book out there that was similar to Howard Zinn's "The People's History of the United States.", but one that covers the entire world? If there is something out like that, can you give me the title?

You may be interested in this quotation from Howard Zinn about Harman's book:

“I have had many people ask me if there is a book which does for world history what my book A People’s History of the United States does for this country. I always respond that I know of only one book that accomplishes this extremely difficult task, and that is Chris Harman’s A People’s History of the World.” Howard Zinn
