Is Stamkos the hot pick come the draft? I dont follow that much of hockey outside the NHL. Other than the Ducks AHL affliate, the Portland Pirates. Speaking of which, the Kings former back up goalie who got traded to the Ducks at the trade deadline then sent to the AHL has been nothing but on fire.

And if Stamkos is a forward, I bet STL has a good chance. Legace is a fantastic goalie, pretty much the only reason STL has won a game. While the Kings.. The kings need a goalie despretly.

Unless Stamkos is a playmaker. The Kings need one as much as a goalie. They only have people to finish, not set it up.

Also, the Pronger Suspenion. What do you think? I was ridiculously surprised that Hockey Central on VS actually didnt totally blast Pronger. One guy even defended him! Hockey Central has never said a kind word about a Duck.

I didn't see it, but from what I heard, Pronger was trying to kick him off of his leg, because he was holding it.  Stamkos is a forward, and will tear the friggin' leauge up next year.  The Blues only chance of picking him up is to: a) suck worse than the kings, or b) move up in the draft lottery.  and with only a handful of games left, option B is looking the most plausible.
