Well, my beliefs have been shaken in global warming what with America having a VERY cold winter and all. But i do agree with you that the left wing need to do stuff the left states they do in our systems. I am anti-gay and lesbian, but i still give then the rights that they deserve on a society base. However, in most places in the world, church has been separated from state(I'd hope) and to infringe state on church is the same as church infringing on state. So a good argument would be that church is separated from state so state should be separated from church(aka, no gay or lesbian marrage).

In closing, i define marrage as between a man and a woman, not two men or two woman.

Global warming does not mean the earth warms, it's just a term, the winters are colder and the summers are hotter because the caps are melting and pollution is keeping hot air in, meaning when winter comes around things will get alot colder do to the movement of the Ice(correct me if I'm wrong I haven't looked this for a while). The summers are usually hotter because theirs more heate kept in. Also depending where you live you could have longer summers/winters, and shorter of the opposite, depending.

If you where anti-gay you wouldn't want to give them rights, you just don't like the idea of it. Also you can get married in places other then a church, marriage between a man and woman is religious based.

Homophobia as every form of discrimination, serves only to divide the working class. Marxists, should always strive to unite the working class and educate its prejudiced and backwards layers.
In this spirit, I have to say that being homosexual is not something "immoral". Every person should have the right to choose his/her sexual orrientation. It's none of your business to tell other people who to fuck in the last analysis.

On the other hand we have to understand that what some call "opressed layers" (gay people, racialized minorities, women) are not a unified whole. A working class gay person has opposing interests with a rich gay person and the same interests as a straight working class person.

My tribute to you as an Indian citizen that you think of technological progress of countries like India and China and want the life of the citizens of this country can be uplifted to the level of your own. That's great thinking. But, THAT'S NOT SUFFICIENT. As an Indian, I clearly want to tell you that the rulers of these countries are not very different, sometimes worse, than that of their imperial counterparts. Progress is just IMPOSSIBLE with the present level of society in India at least. China in one aspect is better than India because it has at least successfuly to wipe out its feudal past a lot. But, in India, feudal legacy is present in every spehere of the society and let them PROGRESSING(!) on their own will have disastrous consequences for humanity. As an Indian citizen, I personally don't like that in future, humanity will point finger towards the people of my country for destruction of environment. Though India will contribut less greenhouse gas and other industrial pollutants, BUT THE REAL FACT IS IT ACTUALLY RELEASES MORE GREENHOUSE GAS AND INDUSTRIAL POLLUTANT PER $ OF GDP IT PRODUCES THAN ITS WESTERN-IMPERIAL COUNTERPARTS. Moreover, I know Indian industrialist well and know that they lack the tendency to invest in development of environment friendly technologies and even in the research and development sector. They are nothing but worthless "compradors" and India can not progress until and unless they are removed from the Indian society.
You worry for development of countries like India and China are worthy to be praised, but sorry to say, YOU HAVE TAKEN THE WRONG PATH.
