I've been thinking of how could we get people drawn into this forum? And a possibility which occurred to me was to have a chat room type thing so people could talk to eachother live, which might help it feel more like a community? I don't know if enough people are online at a time to make it worthwhile. Probably not. Anyway, just a sugestion. Interested in what people think and even anyone has the technical know-how...

I will have to think about it. I have never bothered with AIM, MSN, etc. I haven't bothered with the revleft (read ultra-left.com) chat room for a long time. Nothing really there.

I wasted some time and made a chatroom here http://newyouthchat.bravehost.com/Just kinnda hit the big red button, x the screen that pops up, and wait a moment. it should toss you into the chat room. Then click on the box, and write a nickname. |

The problem is not chat room but members leaving this group .In the old days there where many members here and many are leaving this group .
And I fear it is metter of time too the FBI shuts the group down like the other 2 groups and groups on yahoo.Than there will be no group and they won.

Um, sorry I didn't reply sooner. I tried clicking on the link, but all I got is a red box. i wonder, is it a problem with my computer or is it like that in general. I know I'm being a complaing bitch, but I still like the idea. Is it possible to have a link on the page to the chat area so that it would be prominently featured? In that way it might be possible to keep something like that active? I really should buy a book on these things. I don't even know what IRC and AIM mean...
