The so-called destalinisation was just propaganda of a divided Soviet bureaucracy. They tried to wash their hands by blaming everything on Stalin. This did not change the character of the Soviet state. It remained a degenerated workers' state. A political revolution was still necessary. In fact the political workers' revolution against Stalinism began in Eastern Europe with the Hungarian Revolution, but was crushed by the soviet bureaucracy.
