I'm posting this becuse things are getting out of control in Canada .
Its hard to find jobs here and its nolonger semi-socialist it is more combative and the rich rule ..
The Government you vote is controlled by the rich thus does want the rich wants and nothing more than figer head..
Both liberal party and conservative party.NDP is for the poor but makes up small population and never gets in.
The class is not versatile like the US or Latin ..

Well, the LPC is still better than our Democrats, but Canadian NDP supporters really need to organize, donate more money, etc. and get more Canadians to vote NDP. I see the Liberals are pulling the same shit against the NDP as Democrats here in the USA pull against the Greens.
A VOTE FOR THE NDP IS NOT A VOTE FOR CONSERVATIVES! A VOTE FOR THE NDP IS A VOTE OF CONSCIENCE AND A VOTE OF PRINCIPLES AND VALUES!
A vote for the LPC is a vote for health care privatization! A vote for the LPC is a vote against education and children! A vote for the LPC is a vote against the middle class! A vote for the LPC is a vote for unemployment! A vote for the LPC is a vote for NAFTA expansion! A vote for the LPC is a vote for Global Warming and Pollution! , etc.
On other hand,
A vote for NDP is a vote for universal health care and quality care for all Canadians. A vote for NDP is a vote for education and children. , etc.
You get the picture.

Problem is the NDP never gets in and no one but the poor vote for them.Yes Ontario has the potential for NDP but Canada has much to progress before we start getting at least 20% votes for NDP.
No one votes NDP or socialism in the world if the country is not in a major shable .
What is LPC or CONSCIENCE ???
We are having problems with liberal party has thay don't care anymore .No campaning ,no accountability, crime, fraud, foolishness, run my the rich,do not like poor, don't care about campaning so on.It has if after liberal party is going down drain very fast.

I should also say.We have strong activists in Canada and groups like NDP ,green party, socialism party so on. But because most of people have money, house and job the people who are in poverty, unemployment, low income, low pay, and who are poor makes up small percent of Canadians
Most people in Canada are more center not left like the people in Cuba,USSR or Latin countries :o

First of all, I'm a member of the NDP. We are the best organisers in the entire political arena up here in Canada, and no one from any party would dare contridict that. They all know it's true (although the CPC does try, bless them). It's ridiculous to say that we need to give more of our money; many of our members are on fixed incomes, whether they are young students, or have children, or on pension. We just don't have the membership that is able to give us surplus funds, because our members and supporters don't have those funds. We have union support, with numbers and financially, and with new federal election legislation we'll do better and better the more votes we get. Money might win elections, but that isn't what works best in our party. In the NDP we have always found that manpower (which we have in excess, with over 130,000 members) works best. And there have been NDP governments- I grew up under one. Just never a federal one, because our support in Quebec has never been there post-1970.
New seat projections show a potential increase of 100% for NDP seats this election. In other words, we could as much as double our share of the vote. I think that constitutes a major electoral shift. Our vote might not be rising as steadily as it has in the past nine months, but this election we have a clear strategy to ensure that our votes do not swing to the Liberals to keep the Conservatives out. I know this for sure, because even before the election, I was able to speak to Layton about it.
However, this election is not the make-it-or-break-it election. That election will come in four or five years, when the Conservatives are so pissed off that they can't form a majority government and as a minority government can't get anyone to work with them, that they split back into factions. Once the united Conservatives are discredited and in shambles, and the only real choice to non-Quebecois is the Liberals or the NDP, that is where we'll see some major growth. For those in the party, the important thing right now is not winning seats (although election success is very important to all of us), but rather keeping the party strong and bringing strong socialists to the leadership, so that when the time comes for Canadians to really be able to vote NDP without worrying about a Conservative government, they'll be voting for a socialist NDP.
And again, of course most people in Canada are not as left-wing as Cubans (who have good reason to be left) or people in nations that are in chaos. "Peace, Order and Good Governance," is the rule of the day in Canada, the only thing that we as citizens are promised by our government. Along with that, though, we get corruption and capitalism and all the other excesses of a middle-class that for a long time has kept the workers complacent. When the attacks begin to be unbearable, as they are beginning to be, that is when revolution is going to make sense to the people, not before.

I don't think NDP will have a 20% vote .Too many people that have money do not want to see more taxes going to social programs for the poor, Because businesses and middle and upper class people hate the NDP because of the law and taxes.
The people who are in poverty, unemployment, low income, low pay, and who are poor need social programs and thus vote for the NDP.
In Toronto when the NDP was in crime was low, Homeless off the streets in government homes, Hospital care was very good and fast, Kids in school that had problems had founding for them, the roads and traffic was better than it is now.
The conservative was in Homeless on every street corner, crime is high, Hospital care 5 hour waits for doctor and months waits for major operations, Moral low in school, more drop outs, kids not getting the support and service they need in school, the roads and traffic is like gridlock it takes over 2 hours to go from Toronto west area to Toronto east area. If car crash or construction a car broke down you are late for work, more privatization of government service like utilities and such, for people that want to learn other than GED there is no certification or anything you can take on math, English, sociology, sciences so on. Other than capitalist college or university.
People are having problems putting food on the table and putting roof over them. Getting education is a nightmare. Well those middle and upper class people have money they don't know want to do with.
They have money addiction and any left wing they see it has threat to them. Well the poor tries to make to the next day..
I talk to too many tees that drop out say, I drop out because it is too hard and no support or service for me. And saying the teachers are dead beats. Too many people say no affordable housing and the landlord is increasing rent and the building is crumbling :o

You are not correct in your attack on teachers. Teachers in Canada do the very best they can when class sizes are too high and they haven't the proper text books and they aren't able to take students on trips, or properly discipline students. It is ridiculous to suggest that students dropping out has anything to do with their teachers, when they say "It's too hard. I didn't get enough help," how is that possibly the teachers fault? When there are thirty-two students a class, how much help can a student possibly get? What do you want from teachers? Hmm? You want them to spend 16+ hours a day working? Well, they already do. You want them to fight like hell for their students, for smaller class sizes so that they can give students the help they need? Well, they already do. You want them to go out of their way to help students they're worried won't make it through high school? Well, they already do.
Do you want them to do all that, and more, for students who call them dead-beats and show them no respect? Well, they won't. They're teachers, not saints. Why should we expect anything more than what they're already giving, if we can't show them respect? We just went through a massive teachers strike out here in BC, and the one thing that was common on every picket line, every news report, was the students out on the picket lines saying how much they respected their teachers, how hard their teachers worked and how many extra hours their teachers devoted to them. Those students stood on an illegal picket line with their teachers, protesting wage cuts, higher class sizes and service cuts. Those students knew how hard their teachers work for them. I would imagine those drop-outs you've spoken too never bothered to learn how hard their teachers worked.
Blame the frigging government, but do not blame working-class people for the faults of neo-conservatives who want these students to fail so they will accept pathetic wages and not muster the interest to vote.

You are not correct in your attack on teachers. Teachers in Canada do the very best they can when class sizes are too high and they haven't the proper text books and they aren't able to take students on trips, or properly discipline students. I'm talking about grade 13 and the conservatives that thought it would be cool thing to feed more homework more work to student more pressure to save money. And look it back fired and now they want to pass law you cannot drop out at age 16.. Many student are dropping out of school in Toronto becuse the work is too hard and under pressure ..You get teachers that are nine and you get teachers that are mean. Most people in North American are very greeding for money .Well others are in poverty other live like kings..Many people ask why the USSR and Cuba wages are low .And the true is to keep inflation down and have social programs, Only in passt year has Cuba increase the wages by venezuela and Cuba working together. It is hard for any country to be by it self.I have work with many Cubans in Canada paying them 15$ and they are happy with that ..I have no need for car it is American propaganda and I have no need for more than 5 pants or 5 t-shirts again American propaganda you do not need many and many it is greed.. You do not need more than one TV or more than one computer again American propaganda so people have geed. You do not need a get the best thing in the store it is geed. You can get many things at the free market, I don't have to invest money in a company that find out later made other company that my friend work is out of a job.. You do not need new books old books are fine you do not need new movies old movies are fine. When the new becomes old than I get it..I hate the American propaganda you need have greed or more or more for happy life.So some dudes gets rich.. Angain you do not get the support or service in school or out of school becuse they the conservatives want to save money..

Manitoba one of the only socialist province in Canada. As of July 2008, Canada lost 55,000 jobs. Manitoba is the only province to gain jobs-800 net jobs.
Economist predict no slow near immediate future. Looks like socialism is the best place for western democracy
