Greetings, comrades
« on: August 16, 2005, 12:38:40 AM »

Hello to all who are here. I am from Aurora, Colorado, U.S. Now I am taking classes a Jesuit(Catholic) university in Omaha, Nebraska.
I have been a communist/socialist since before I can remember. Before I even got involved in "politics" I had a passion for justice and a palatable disgust for commercialism and consumerism, and all other things that I have since learned are directly related to the fasco-capitalist system which currently controls billions of humans' lives. I am especially disdainful of the subliminal indoctrination of these social diseases we have all been exposed to.
I feel that we know we are socialists from the beginning of our existence. As Bob Marley, probably my favorite musician/prophet said, "It's not how long you been a Rasta, it's how long it takes you to grow up. Because what ya' is, is what ya' is, from the beginning to the end, you can never change! Even if you adopt things, later on if gonna filter right out. So we just Rasta from creation."
It just takes us awhile to "grow up" and find the right "label" for our natural feelings and philosophies. It takes much longer to realize our true natures in a world filled with greed being mistaken for success, and mass murder being paraded as a crusade for our safety.
Sorry for the long intro, but I'm trully excited to find a place like this, where the truth is what matters, and nothing else. thanks

Hi rpm (yes, I've already abbreviated your name... sorry. I have a vague recollection that rpm stands for something).

Welcome to our little forum; it's a happy place to be. What do you study at uni?

Hello and welcome. Your one us commies, and your going to a Jesuit school? That personally would drive me insane. Unless your the religious type, then "whatever floats your boat."

Oh and Morag, rpm's can usually be found on speedometer in the car.

The RPM gauge is a tachometer, not a speedometer.:p
