A new political party
« on: June 25, 2005, 08:09:03 AM »

Greetings:

It is a pleasure to come here to express the Falconist P.O.V. in this forum. I also invite you to check out the website of the Falconist Party . Many people think our party is Socialist. However, we leave that for you to decide.

It doesn't seem socialist to me. Looks more like you'd like to force everyone into a uniform and take over the world, imprinting it with a fundamentalist Christian order.

Manifest Destiny? Really?

It almost sounds like a party that’s pushing itself as a non corrupt version of the Republican Party or an anti-nationalist party that wants to privatize everything.

((Socialism calls for the distribution of wealth from the rich to the poor. Falconism recognizes that there will always be economic inequality))

Hmph.

I find this part to be kind of disturbing though

((The Falconist Party is against any attempt to change the U.S. Government by force. Falconists spit on the thought of taking up arms against those who pledged to defend our nation from all enemies both foreign and domestic))

Defend our nation from domestic enemies?? What if the enemies of the people are the same individuals who have pledged to defend the nation? What if the majority of poor people are the domestic enemies?

Its good you don't see us as Socialist. Many right-wingers think the Falconist Party as Socialist or Communist.

Amazing isn’t it? The republican’s logic is truly dizzying. They label less countries corrupt capitalist countries as socialist and call the corporate elitist Kerry whose wife owns the Heinz Corporation a communist lol!

I do have to admit though the word communism and socialism seem to be interchangeable with republicans. Particularly parties that are only considered to be a minor threat are labeled as socialist while parties or individuals of which of whom are considered to be a major threat are then labeled as communist lol.

Sometimes I wonder if they actually believe the nonsense they spew. If so they certainly have a lot of definitions for those two little words.

As with promoters of religion, I wonder if nationalists are worse if they *do* believe their own bullshit (therefore shysters), or if they *don't* believe their own bullshit (therefore robots)....

1. That first paragraph is what I wanted to say too. Plus I disagree with alot of the social policies of this party. Forcing people into the military? I hope you reconize CO (conscientious objecton) if you are thinking about this policy.

2. Its friendly version of the republican party with libreal economics.

3. The integration of Church and State? We don't need another politcal party trying to bring back the dark ages.

4. I see this party as a fiscaly (economicly) liberal one, they are no socialist.

That is how I see it.

Republican's call anything that is against them socialist. I read about one story of some one simply anti-war, and was called a socialist, geez.

I have almost no hope for the future of this country anyway, so I expect the worse.

That is exactly what our party is. Our party is liberal on fiscal and economic issues but conservative on social, cultural, and military issues. Right now, there is no party or ideology in America that embodies this. There is no party or ideology that is a total 180 from Libertarianism.

Were the only movement in America that combines the economic policies of Alexander Hamilton and FDR with the social and cultural policies of the Christian right with the foriegn policies of Teddy Rosevelt.

Bully for you. But now, please tell us how that is at all a positive thing? I mean, sorry, but liberal economics generally lead to more liberal societies. And do you really think that the majority of Americans are going to continue to support the party after one term?

I didn’t see that at the time and some of the main I really only skimmed over it.

I defiantly agree no one should be forced into the military. They like the military to be forced a little too much with corps this corps that they have a corp for just about everything lol. Military training should be provided free with easy access. And everyone should be able to obtain weapons at subsidized prices. My idea> (well not really) is to create a voluntary army that could be called upon when needed but never forced even those who volunteer to be called upon can willing refuse to go if they so chose. Basically I think there should be no standing army. Only armed and train civilians that can be called upon when needed but not forced. :p
