We are having a meeting in Fife soon where I am going to do the lead off on socialist revolution. I will make alot of refrences to the Russian revolution, but I would also like to hand out a breif description of the revolution. I was wondering if there was a small analysis of 1917 on marxist.com, one which is only 2 or 3 pages long that I could print out.

If anyone thinks I will need anything else please let me know :)

You should read The Meaning of October by Alan Woods and Trotsky's important 1932 speech in Copenhagen In Defence of the Russian Revolution .

That should do for a short lead-off on the Russian Revolution, I guess.

Or lose our ventures.
