Too little, too late? I'll concieved? Or just another way of holding onto power?

I'm sure Marx didn't have a view on Glasnost and Perestroika, but what about the people on this forum? Or a general Marxist point of view?

A really good case was written in Grant´s and Woods´ From revolution to counter-revolution in Russia. You can find the whole book for free on the In Defense of Marxism website. Here is the chapter concerning Perestroika, but a lot of things are connected with glasnost and perestroika, so I suggest you to read the whole book.
