March 19-20 marks the two-year anniversary of the U.S. bombing and invasion of Iraq. After all of the death and destruction, and with the Bush administration claiming a mandate to continue their war, there's a new urgency and a stronger determination within the global antiwar movement to bring the troops home now.

LOCAL ACTIONS NATIONWIDE

UFPJ calls on supporters of peace and justice in every corner of the country, in communities large and small, to organize local protests against the war on Saturday, March 19.

You know the thing about America's war against Iraq, unlike other wars that America fought, were one american to say to another.  "If America loses in Iraq, we'll all be wearing terbin's and riding camels, we'll all have to convert to Islam."  Well were some one to make an assertion such as that that person would be seen as a fool and rightly so.  The American people know Iraq wasn't a threat to the american way of life or even it's national security.  I'm not to fund of radicle Islamic extremists or for that matter radicle Christian evangelicles either, however I know the difference between a threat to american security and a war of corporate Thuggary.  The rest of amercans know this as well if you press them on the topic, sure there might have been those who's world view were driven by fear with all the talk of weapons of mass destructions and what have you but their eyes too have begun to open.  This war has exposed the real evil behind Capitalist greed as now it's plain for the american people to see that their lives have no value to the Capitalist running the U.S., no on the contrary Capitalist would sacrifice each and every one of their lives to raise their profit margins.  With every bullet Capitalist henchmen release to repress and murder the poor and underprivildged of the world more and more eyes open to the vile contempt of Capitalism again human life in all it's forms.  How Capitalist will kill all people of all races religions and creeds to increase it's profit and lash the whipp of oppress across the backs of all other classes of people of the world, all but those privildged few and deemed "Expendable".  Human lives reduced to a cost benifit ratio in the ledgers of corporate greed, Good soldiers dieing for bad causes.  The only good warfare is class warfare it's time to make these Capitalist scum pay!

If that was really so, then I think there would have been more of an outrage in the US. Most republicans believed in the war, some democrats thought the same, while the others thought it was "getting revenge for daddy." I heard it all the time, still do sometimes. And then theres the small few who knew it was nothing new but a riveting good time of an imperialist adventure.

Many of the American people were totally subdued by the media, they believed Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, Iraq had ties with Al-Queda, Saddam Hussein was killing his people, etc.  However, when almost all of these were proven false, the American government speaking through the media called Saddam a murderer (Butcher of Baghdad and such) and said the US army was "liberating" Iraq against this madman.  This one is the toughest one to combat by leftists.  Yet, the American government and army is doing the exact same (examples include Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay, Faluja).  Also, knowing the American medias almost total conservatism, I think what is happening is not even the tip of the iceberg, rather just a little snowflake.  History will show Saddam Hussein was no more of a leader then Bush and both will be remembered as tyrants and murderers.

The truth of the matter is Iraq is about OIL, and those people who think its not are either a) fooling themselves into thinking its not in which case they appear as patriotic idiots or b) totally brainwashed by the media in which case they're simply idiots.

You See America is also a very Racist and Biggoted country, Plenty of Nazi's have been infiltrating the Republican party for years, and even less politicle american tend to revert to racism especially when times are hard and they suffer financial hardship.  So since american's are also very fearful, as racism and a fearful world view go hand in hand, the idea of "September 11th" beat into their heads they'd have back a war against any and all arab people's, perhaps even "Ethnic Clensing".

You see that's how Racism works, it's "what? The towel heads did this? Kill them all! After all they aren't REALLY people, they're not REAL human being's like us, so F@ck em! We'll teach all those inferior mud race's to mess with us!"  See how Racism plays in?  Afterall when your enemy is no longer a human being in your eyes you can do whatever you please and there isn't anything immoral in slaughtering them like animals.

That's the path of Nazi America, and the fact is there are still plenty of Nazi American's, and behind them you have Capitalist there waiting in the wings to seize the wealth and Oil resources of the Arab world.  

The Flaw in the new Nazi America is the Flaw that always exsisted in Nazi germany.  This whole "We are the master Race" crap dissolved as those soilders pumped up on the hype of "We are the superiors and masters of all the world." That hype deflated when they started looking to their left or right and see that it's "Fritz is DEAD! Lothar! Andraes! Hans! Franz! Sh!t they're killing us! We're not the invencible master race after all!  RUN! RUN!"

And with that calaspe is immediate and it all comes crashing down.  Only the reversal might be a bit more bloody as now it might very well involve atomic weapons, afterall you can't really convince a suicide bomber not to set off a nuke or two, what started as a hunt for weapons of mass destruction that were never built might very well force the hands of this desperate foe to build them NOW.  Oh the Folly of it all.

America has become way too imperialistic for it's own good. The nation as a whole is on a downward slope. With talk of an Iranian invasion in the mists, I think you will see alot more uprisings should that movement become iment.  The troops which have sworn to protect the nation and obey thier leaders are already protesting, by refusing to serve in these unjust wars, it is only the begining of a bigger movement. Each solider that says no, is another block removed from the wall of this country. Our values still remain, our people are still united, but the reason is not for world domination, but for issues at home. These people will lead a movement of change that will soon sweep this once mighty nation.

Why did the U.S. Invade Iraq to begin with?  Well it's simple it's because no one was bold enough or perhaps strong enough to say "If you attack Iraq, then we will attack YOU!"  In alot of ways Sadam Brought it apon himself by attempting to secularize.  He spend years in the eighties fighting against the anti-wester Islamic fundamentalist, and he was armed heavily by the U.S. to do so.  He was the U.S. Henchman against Iran, and so he alienated the middle east by being a willing pressor of native culture in support of his masters back in Washinton.  Well eventually the teach of their favorite attack down were beared one time to many and in their view it was time to put that attack dog of their down.  Same can be said of Osama, he was a convient tool for imperialist in Afganistan but after he outlived his usefullness he too was to be silenced slaughter by the same folks who's bidding he carried out.  It's utterly foolish to think that calaboration with the was would have any benificial result for anyone, the aims of imperialists are their own and those interest rarely coincide with any no of their blood or origin.
