I talked with some of my co-workers about bad conditions on the job and they told me their troubles and concerns (mostly about low wages), especially the younger ones.  I think they would've been open to unionization but I left the job.  It was a mistake not to call the union, but I'm trying to start one else where.

I am still quite busy with school and work, but I do intend on joining the Workers' International League (US section of the CMI) sometime soon.  That should be a good start.

I myself have not recently been as active as I should or could be. When I lived closer to DC, I was active in alot more protests annd things of that nature that support the left wing movement in the US.  Though since moving down to Florida, I have just stepped back and watched how the movement is, in and around these parts, and not really done much.  So by our terms I am more of a old comrade.

I have gotten my PayPal set up, so I will be able to pay my dues easily, and I am a member.  I just hope that my stupid schedule clears up a bit so I can have some time to study and such.

I am currently joining the local "Radical Youth" group. It is a group in New Zealand that is known for its protests demanding minimum wage for under 16s to be raised from $0 to around $7

I'm a member of Revolution Socialist Youth Movement and of Workers Power. I really became active 6 months ago at the G8 protests in Edinburgh where I met Revolution and had my last illusions in reformism driven from me by the repressive actions of the police. Since then I've become a committed revolutionary and Trotskyist. Revolution is an extremely active group and our group in Leeds, UK has been extremely busy with anti-fascist/anti-racist protests and work around asylum issues and campaigning for refugees.

We combine a hefty amount of activism with a hefty amount of theoretical study and learning, of marxist theory and the history of the workers movement and how the lessons learned from it can be applied to today. There was another anti-fascist protest today and this coming weekend we are doing a protest against anti-social behaviour orders (ASBOs) which criminalise and oppress youth who have had all their youth centres and park areas sold off for profit by the capitalists and are forced to hang around on street corners with nothing to do and are further alienated from society.

I have learn about socialism and marxism from my professors in college.

Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) is a public university and there are some marxist professors .

I don`t know if I fit in as an active, but I do what i can. I write articles, try to make consciuss in people, protest in my own way (blank voting) telling people not to vote.

I don´t belong to a party in Dominican Republic, cause there is not a socialist party here. There´s only one movement called Fuerza de la Revolucion (FR), and they are stalinist. I would like to join to the Workers International League, but there is not a branch in Dominican Republic.

Well, I am a member of RKP BIH. It is completely false that our party advocates any kind of removal of population from one country to another (the Croats to Croatia or the Serbs to Serbia etc.). I don't know where you found such an idea but it causes us great damage and it is completely untrue.

I'm a member of a relatively young organisation in Poland. I mainly write and translate articles for our website and participate in demonstrations when there are some in my area. I try to be as active as possible despite the general weakness of Polish left.

www.socjalizm.org, available so far only in Polish. The organization has no particular name and it's formed by the young people who write and translate articles there. I'm also a member of another Polish organization named The Young Socialists, which organizes mainly demonstrations and distributes leaflets. They're not very radical, though.

I'm not active at all for the time being. I don't know if I will be active in the future. I know the world should change and become better for all people, but how? I'm very interested in Marxism, but I'm learning in differents ways to make the world better. Make the world better is a PRIORITY ONE for my mind, so Marxism is not the only way I watch and if one day I find a better solution, I will prefer this solution to Marxism. For me Marxism is not a goal, but a way to go to the goal, but I'm not sure if it's the best way. So for me make the world better is the only thing that is important, so that the only thing I will try to put fidelity. I will put fidelity in Marxism ONLY when Marxism will make the world better. If Marxism one day become an obstacle to make the world better, I will be at the side of what will make the world better. But I really don't know why I'm doing that (read about how to make the world better), because I don't know if I will use all the stuff I learned in the future...

I took some of my money and I gived it to a left politic party in Quebec, Quebec Solidaire. I'm a member of this political party, but I didn't do anything for the time being. In the past, I worked in benevole movements to help poor kids and people from other countries who came to Quebec to learn to read and to write in French. I also worked for disabled peoples a summer, it was a great experience. I also like to promote free culture, free softwares, like Linux. And I talk to my friends, family and collegues about left. I talk to them about left, we have some debates, they agree with my ideas and the next time I saw them... they have exactly the same idea the medias give them. So I don't know if this is possible to change the world just with ideas... I really don't know ANYTHING!!!

But... but... I try to make feel the people around me better. In the world, I'm just a small sand grain, so I don't think a sand grain can do anything about the world. But with my friends and my family, I think I can do a bit...
